This race is for the tenacious-spirited and experienced paddler. Participants signed up for this race will begin at the Fort Temiscamingue Historic site (Ville-Marie) at 8am and paddle 75km to the finishing point at “the Marina” in Temiscaming.

A shuttle service to Ville-Marie will depart from the Algonquin Canoe Company store the evening before the event on Friday, June 18th starting at 12:00pm - 10:00pm a cost of $10 per person. Participants who intend to make use of the shuttle service will park their vehicle at the Algonquin Canoe Company store and be dropped off at La Bannik recreotouristic complex, a campground resort withing walking distance of the start line at Fort Temiscamingue.

A shuttle service to Ville-marie will also depart from the Algonquin Canoe Company store the day of the event on Saturday, June 19th starting at 5:00 am a cost of $10 per person.

After completion of the race, paddlers will be shuttled with their vessels from the Marina to the Algonquin Canoe Company (Long Sault Island) for a traditional supper of moose stew, fried fish, and bannock.

Registrations will be available at The Algonquin Canoe Company store and also at Fort Temiscaming on the day of the event: $25.00 per person includes free t-shirt

Prizes will then be awarded to the top three contestants for each category: solo kayak and tandum canoe.
