Our day tours depart Daily June 15- September 15 and include guides, instruction and equipment.
What to bring on our day tours:

MEET WORLD RENOWNED AUTHORS JOSEPH BOYDEN AND MARGARET ATWOOD - AUGUST 7TH
Day One: Qwe Qwe
Meet your hosts at the Algonquin Canoe Company between 11am -1pm for local h’orderves and beverages in a funand casual atmosphere. Coles bookstores will be onsite with books and an opportunity to have books autographed by authors Joseph Boyden and Margaret Atwood at this time only.
Vehicle transfer about 15km to Lake Kipawa if you wish to bring your vehicle you can drive there to a secure parking facility near where we catch our boat shuttle to Hunter’s Point. Here you will be welcomed by Chief
Harry St Denis and will have a tour around the First Nation settlement. Afterwhich you can participate in an introduction to kayak touring. Enjoy an evening traditional feast followed by Anishnabek Country music and with presentation by authors Margaret Atwood and Joseph Boyden. Overnight at Hunter’s Point. You will have your choice of traditional teepee, homestay or contemporary cabin accommodation.
Day Two:
Waterfront breakfast at Eunice Lodge followed by water taxi transport to the town of Kipawa

THREE HOUR INTRO TO KAYAKING
Perfect for the kayaking curious. After your basic instruction, we'll paddle the sheltered waters of the Ottawa River Narrows. Watch for great bald eagles perched on the soaring cliffs and pines above you.
Cost: $30.00 US per person.
FULL MOON WOLF HOWL
Howling humans in kayaks every full moon throughout the summer. Join in 9pm - 11pm following the moonbeams on the water. Call for dates.

SUNSET SENSATION TOUR
Enjoy the calmness and unique light reflections of a northern evening. Paddle to a secluded shore and enjoy a fishdinner by a camp fire. 6pm-9pm

ALGONQUIN FAMILY FREIGHTER
Leave your world behind. Bring your family aboard our motorized 8 passenger freighter canoe and enjoy the rich native heritage and eco-cultural experiences unique to the waterways of the Temiscaming region. Sip on iced tea while we prepare a traditional lunch.
