Tour: Dreamcatcher


Mijiwe-izhijiganan means “made with hands” in our language. Our tradition of making arts and crafts is very ancient. Dreamcatchers originated with the Anishnabe people. In this hands on educational workshops you will learn the legend of this magical web as you weave your own from willow hoops and sinew. Once completed you will learn abour our historical WabanakiTciman- the Birchbark canoe before going for a short guided paddle in a contemporary canoe on the Ottawa River.

Tour Time: 3 hours
Price includes all craft and canoe equipment, guided instruction and lunch.
